Whether visitors want to enjoy intense mountain biking or take a leisurely ride around lake "Zeller See" with the family, with 240 km of cycling paths in the region and 1,300 km in the greater Salzburg area, there is plenty of pedal space for everyone! E-bikes enable visitors to have  a more relaxing experience in the hills and valleys. With 25 rental stations, Zell am See-Kaprun is a real trendsetter in this area and one of the largest e-bike regions in Austria.

 

A wide range of activities for hikers and climbers
Some 400 km of hiking trails span all altitudes – from glaciers to lake "Zeller See". More leisurely hikers can swing in style using the exclusive Porsche-designed cable car running from the valley to the 2,000 m summit of Schmittenhöhe. Zell am See’s main mountain is like an observation deck providing stunning views over the Salzburg area with 360° panoramas of thirty + 3,000 m mountains!

 

Alpine golf
Golfers will enjoy 36 beautiful greens in the Alps in Zell am See-Kaprun. Even the very location of the club, one of the leading golf courses in Austria, is unique to Europe. The perfectly maintained 18-hole championship courses are at the foothills of the mountains providing breathtaking views of the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn. In 2011 this course was voted Golf Club of the Year by the reknown Golf Revue.
