Summer may be over, but our bathing adventures are just beginning! We start with an energizing yoga session overlooking the stunning Zeller See. Through activating movement and breathing exercises, we'll awaken the warmth from within, boost circulation, and cultivate clarity and focus. In serene silence, we’ll walk together to the lake’s edge, connecting with our breath and the peacefulness of nature, before taking a refreshing dip in the cool water. Afterward, we’ll unwind and warm up with a cozy cup of tea, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. 1 pm - Start Race The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. Now in its tenth year, on 5 May 2024 Wings for Life World Run participants in Austria can also run together in Zell am See. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 1 pm. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects. Feed Stations at Elisabethpark, Haus Gabi and Wieshof. BOAT SHUTTLE After you get caught by the virtual catcher car the race is over for you. To enable a smooth and quick way back to the start venue all participants can use the boat shuttle „Überfahrt“ for free. This limits the maximum walking distance to 2,5km after your personal finish line. WHEELCHAIR PARTICIPANTSOn 4 May 2025 wheelchair participants and runners start side by side at this track. The only requirement: wheelchair participants have to start in everyday wheelchairs.  TIMING AND RACE NUMBERYou will receive your personal race number via email and it’s also available next to your starting number on the website a couple of days before the race. The Wings for Life World Run App is your time tracking tool. On 5 July 2025, endurance athletes and fans of triathlon sports will get their money's worth again. The TriZell, an international triathlon, is entering its 36th round in Zell am See-Kaprun. The Olympic distance consists of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run. The Sprint distance covers 750 meters swimming, 20 kilometers on bike and 5 kilometers of running. This year, the start and finish areas are in and around the Thumersbach lido with a view of the center of Zell am See, the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn.
